ACCOMMODATION RULES – SUMMER STAY 2023

  1. According to the schedule for the academic year 2022/2023, AGH UST students, who want to stay in the summer dormitories from the 6th of July till the 15th of September 2023 (including examination session, traineeships and resit examination session) should fill in the online summer application available at https://akademik.agh.edu.pl/en Applications should be filled in maximally till the 11th of June. AGH UST students who will fill in summer applications on time, will receive the decisions (on the e-mail address given in the system) till the 20th of June.

  2. Current Campus’ residents - students of other universities can receive a place in one of the summer dormitories for the period from the 6th of July till the 15th of September 2023, while students who are not residents, in the period from the 20th of July till the 15th of September 2023. Summer applications for accommodation during this period should be filled in in the system https://akademik.agh.edu.pl/en till the 11th of June. Students of other universities who will fill in summer applications on time, will receive the decisions (on the e-mail address given in the system) till the 20th of June.

  3. Students interested in staying alone in a double room can mark their request for an additional place in the application. For residents who are staying alone in a double room, the price for the second place amounts to 75% of the pay rate determined in the price list (https://www.miasteczko.agh.edu.pl/en/pricing.html).

  4. During summer holidays, students can check-in and check-out on working days from 8 AM till 3 PM. In justified cases, it is possible to check-in, on the dormitory reception outside those hours.

  5. All AGH UST Student Campus current residents can stay in one of the summer dormitories only under the condition of setting all payments resulting from their stay in the dormitory during the academic year 2022/2023.

  6. Summer dormitories for holidays 2023 will be: Dorm 8 STOKROTKA, Dorm 11 BONUS, Dorm 13 STRASZNY DWÓR, Dorm 14 KAPITOL, Dorm 17 ARKADIA and Dorm ALFA. AGH UST Student Campus Administration reserves the right to change summer dormitories after gathering all information about the exact number of students willing to stay in the Campus during summer. Additional dormitories will be opened for the duration of the examination session, so that every AGH UST student who applies for a place for a session will have the possibility of accommodation. The detailed schedule of relocations to summer dormitories will be published on the website https://akademik.agh.edu.pl/en/dokumenty/ after the 26th of June.

  7. Campus residents who will be accommodated during the European Games and submit an application for the duration of the examination session, if granted a place, will be able to continue their accommodation during the session in the same dormitory. People who have applied for a place for a period longer than the examination session will be relocated after the end of the session to dormitories open throughout the summer stay (relocation only residents from Dorm 3 AKROPOL and Dorm 7 ZAŚCIANEK).

  8. When submitting the application, the date of accommodation must be specified exactly, because stays on dates only for the duration of the examination session will be carried out in student dormitories, which will be closed after the end of the session. It won`t be possible to change the accommodation dates for the summer stay indicated in the application.

  9. AGH students who resigned from applying for a place during the European Games in the central dorm placement system and submit an application for a place for the examination session (July 6-16), are guaranteed free accommodation in a dormitory in the Comfort or Comfort+ standard. Free accommodation is for one place only. If you apply for two places per session period, you will pay extra for an additional place.

  10. All residents mentioned in pt. 1 and 2, who have already received a place for the academic year 2023/2024 should move to assigned dormitories, as far as possible, maximally till the 20th of September. Relocations should be made according to the booked reservations or assigned dormitories.

  11. Due to the necessity of holding technical run-throughs, minor renovations and pest controls during summer holidays in all AGH UST dormitories and preparing all AGH UST dormitories for the September massive check-in action AGH UST Student Campus Administration reserves the right to relocate residents to other rooms or dormitories.

  12. All AGH UST Student Campus current residents pay for their summer stay on the given bank account number, up front for the whole month until the 15th day of each month.

  13. All residents are obligated to follow the General Regulations for Residents of AGH UST Student Campus.

  14. In justified cases, AGH UST Student Campus Administration reserves the right to refuse accommodation in AGH UST dormitories.

  15. The special needs of people with disabilities in terms of holiday accommodation are given priority. The needs may concern, inter alia, accommodation in a specific dorm (for example, other than that mentioned in point 7) or a specific room. The needs are verified by the Office for Persons with Disabilities in consultation with the Department of Student Dormitories of the Campus.
